The Reptile, Hammer Horror Kit

 Produced by Creatures Unlimited UK, in the early 2000's. This kit is 1/6 scale, and is made in cold cast resin. It depicts Anna, the snake woman (as played by Jacqueline Pearce), out on the prowl for a victim. Inspired by the Hammer Film. The film is very atmospheric and a favorite.

 The base has been customized by me; with the addition of a bashed skull, and two snakes were also added. Gary, the owner at Creatures, had more or less stopped making the base as elaborate as it was originally. Primarily due to the brittle nature of cold casting. Earlier castings had some snakes on it, but this casting didn't, so I rectified the matter after painting it. Paintwork by me. I am pretty pleased with results.

 In 2010, a little customizer decided he wanted to see toys made from favorite films. He titled his "company" Distinctive Dummies. The rest is history.  Originally consisting of he, his wife, and other like minded folks who wanted certain characters to have plastic representation in their collections, DD grew to something of a collector phenomenon. Characters we fans thought would never see the light of day materialized. Wasp Woman, Boy Who Cried Werewolf, Louis Jordan as Dracula, and so many more became realities.
