Psycho House Relic Style Display

I always wanted to visit the set of Psycho and see the mansion and The Bates Motel that exists at Universal Hollywood. I  never got there, despite living in California as a child. The closest I got was Universal Florida and seeing the house built for Psycho 4.

In 1989-90, I reluctantly went to Universal Studios Florida. I was 19, and didn't want to go on a "family vacation".  Once we got there, my mind was changed. As stated, they were filming Psycho 4 at the time. I didn't see security around....so I went past the barriers and walked all the way up the small hill, and right up to the Psycho House built for the film. I even peeked in the windows (to spot a bunch of lumber, and junk). It was painted half yellow and "restored", and half as old and decrepit. To do the flashback scenes.

I still have never been to the original house. An online friend, who worked out there, was involved in restoring the house a few years back. He sent me a piece of the old, rotting house original Bates Mansion. I had it matted and framed, and an engraved plate made through Engraveyard.  An odd, eclectic item matted with a vintage Universal California postcard. Excuse the glare from the back of Mother 1:1 display on the glass.
