 Dark Shadows, Barnabas Collins 1/6 scale bust.  Sculpted by John Dennett, and released through his company, Moon Devil Studios. Cast in resin. Painted by me. These were offered very, very briefly, sold out quickly, and no other characters from Dark Shadows were offered.

 In 2010, a little customizer decided he wanted to see toys made from favorite films. He titled his "company" Distinctive Dummies. The rest is history.  Originally consisting of he, his wife, and other like minded folks who wanted certain characters to have plastic representation in their collections, DD grew to something of a collector phenomenon. Characters we fans thought would never see the light of day materialized. Wasp Woman, Boy Who Cried Werewolf, Louis Jordan as Dracula, and so many more became realities. Others have copied DD, but DD's reputation is astounding. I have done a lot with them in the role of freelance paint work, and as a creative consultant. These folks are top notch. Although they started their offerings in 1/6 scale, they rarely do 1/6 any longer. Their focus is now mainly "mego" scale. Their 1/6 offerings were usually quite impressive.
