Return of the Vampire
Not everything in the manor is vintage era. In fact, the collection would be extremely limited if it were. Universal received the lion's share of licensed product in the 1960-70's. So Hammer, Vincent Price, The Killer B's, etc wouldn't have a wing in this museum; if not for items made in the years after.
Here we have two 1/6 scale kits, painted by yours truly. The Bela is a Lugosi Billiken Dracula vinyl model kit produced by Billiken in the mid-late 1980's. The Andreas Werewolf is an extremely limited model kit by Fritz over at Headless Hearseman. It's a resin garage kit, or fan produced piece. Fritz supplied me with an extra nameplate revealed my plan for this display. Bela is mounted on a resin cemetery base base, but I cannot recall the manufacturer.
Return of the Vampire is one of my favorite Lugosi vehicles, and is unique. The werewolf is his slave, has the ability to speak, and he transforms when in danger...or at his master's command. The scene where Lady Jane combats Tesla, while playing the organ, is awesome. If you haven't seen Return of the Vampire, I recommend it.
