Count Yorga, Vampire Resin Kit, X-O Facto, Jeff Yagher

 1/6 scale resin kit of the groovy ghoul himself, Count Yorga from the film "Count Yorga, Vampire!" . Played by the late Robert Quarry. Released in the garage kit hey day of the late 1990-early 2000's. Jeff Yagher sculpt, and released through the late John Tucky's company, X-O Facto. After market nameplate replaced the rather bland one it was issued with. I added the gargoyles, and the column with candle. The wall it originally comes with is stored away. Painted by me.

 In 2010, a little customizer decided he wanted to see toys made from favorite films. He titled his "company" Distinctive Dummies. The rest is history.  Originally consisting of he, his wife, and other like minded folks who wanted certain characters to have plastic representation in their collections, DD grew to something of a collector phenomenon. Characters we fans thought would never see the light of day materialized. Wasp Woman, Boy Who Cried Werewolf, Louis Jordan as Dracula, and so many more became realities. Others have copied DD, but DD's reputation is astounding. I have done a lot with them in the role of freelance paint work, and as a creative consultant. These folks are top notch. Although they started their offerings in 1/6 scale, they rarely do 1/6 any longer. Their focus is now mainly "mego" scale. Their 1/6 offerings were usually quite impressive.
