Christopher Lee Dracula 1/6 scale resin model kit by Mike Hill

 Mike Hill loves Hammer Studios. It's evident in everything he sculpts that is based on those films. He shines on everything, and is one of my favorite sculptors. With Hammer, he is beyond stellar. 


This is his 1/6 scale Resin kit of Christopher Lee as Count Dracula. Released via his Shapeshifters company.  Inspired specifically from  the film "Dracula Has Risen From The Grave".  Dracula is revived from his icy tomb in the mountains, he stands stoically as the wind catches his cape. Mike Hill, in turn, captures the moment.

 In 2010, a little customizer decided he wanted to see toys made from favorite films. He titled his "company" Distinctive Dummies. The rest is history.  Originally consisting of he, his wife, and other like minded folks who wanted certain characters to have plastic representation in their collections, DD grew to something of a collector phenomenon. Characters we fans thought would never see the light of day materialized. Wasp Woman, Boy Who Cried Werewolf, Louis Jordan as Dracula, and so many more became realities. Others have copied DD, but DD's reputation is astounding. I have done a lot with them in the role of freelance paint work, and as a creative consultant. These folks are top notch.
