Brentz Dolz Deluxe Verne Langdon Zombie Mask Collectible Figure

 Brentz Dolz, a custom figure producer, produced a super limited run of Zombie Mask figures. Based off the Verne Langdon mask from the 1970's.   I painted one of the runs, and it had sculpted hair. He was dressed in a standard black suit. 

There was a deluxe version and it was painted by Dr. David Lady, and had fabric faux hair work by Laura Lady. I think there were between 10-20 of this one.


Then there is this version. The only one produced this way. It features a Type S bandless body, specially sculpted hands, a superior suit and shirt, a Head painted by Dr. David Lady and haired by Laura Lady, and a box designed by Richard Gifford and  produced by the Toy Room. Whew! 

He's a neat little dude in whatever version you choose, but as I have a special little obsession over this character, I wanted mine to be different. Happy Haunting, err...hunting.

 In 2010, a little customizer decided he wanted to see toys made from favorite films. He titled his "company" Distinctive Dummies. The rest is history.  Originally consisting of he, his wife, and other like minded folks who wanted certain characters to have plastic representation in their collections, DD grew to something of a collector phenomenon. Characters we fans thought would never see the light of day materialized. Wasp Woman, Boy Who Cried Werewolf, Louis Jordan as Dracula, and so many more became realities.
